This Pressure Reducing Valve with Pressure Gauge (15mm / 22mm) is designed to regulate and stabilise water pressure in plumbing systems. Installed on the incoming water supply, the valve automatically reduces high mains pressure to a controlled level, helping protect appliances, pipework, taps, and fittings from excessive pressure. Pressure reducing valves are commonly used in domestic and commercial water systems to maintain consistent pressure and prevent damage caused by fluctuating or high inlet pressure.

The valve features a built-in pressure gauge, allowing users to monitor system pressure in real time and adjust the outlet pressure when required. The adjustable mechanism enables the outlet pressure to be set within a range typically between 1 and 6 bar, with many units factory preset to around 3 bar for standard water systems.

Manufactured from durable brass components with compression fittings, the valve is designed for long-term reliability in both hot and cold potable water systems. It can be installed in vertical or horizontal pipework and includes internal components such as a removable cartridge and strainer to assist with maintenance and system protection.

This type of valve is widely used in residential plumbing, catering premises, commercial buildings, and water systems where pressure regulation is required to maintain safe and efficient operation.
