Terms & Conditions for Signage, Printing & Shopfitting
These Printing Terms and Conditions apply to all printing, signage, graphics, design, promotional material, and related services supplied by Norgroup Limited.
1. Quotations and Orders
1.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Orders shall only be deemed accepted once confirmed by Norgroup Limited.
1.3 Verbal instructions or approvals provided by the Buyer shall be binding.
1.4 Any changes requested after approval may incur additional charges and revised lead times.
2. Artwork and Proofing
2.1 The Buyer is responsible for checking all artwork, proofs, spelling, dimensions, colours, and specifications prior to approval.
2.2 Approval of artwork constitutes acceptance of all content and specifications.
2.3 Norgroup Limited shall not be liable for errors once artwork has been approved by the Buyer.
2.4 Where artwork is supplied by the Buyer, files should be supplied in a print-ready format unless otherwise agreed.
2.5 Additional artwork amendments beyond reasonable revisions may be chargeable.
3. Colour Variation and Materials
3.1 Due to differences in screens, printers, materials, inks, laminates, and manufacturing processes, exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed.
3.2 Minor colour, alignment, trimming, or finish variations shall not constitute defects.
3.3 Printed colours may vary between batches and reprints.
3.4 Samples, mock-ups, or visual renders are intended as guidance only.
4. Production and Lead Times
4.1 Production lead times are estimates only and commence once final artwork approval and payment requirements have been satisfied.
4.2 Norgroup Limited shall not be liable for delays caused by suppliers, couriers, material shortages, or events outside reasonable control.
4.3 Urgent or expedited orders may incur additional charges.
5. Delivery and Collection
5.1 Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless agreed in writing.
5.2 Risk passes to the Buyer upon delivery or collection.
5.3 The Buyer must inspect Goods immediately upon receipt and notify Norgroup Limited of shortages or defects within 3 working days.
5.4 Failed deliveries caused by incorrect addresses, restricted access, or absence may incur re-delivery charges.
6. Installation
6.1 Where installation services are provided, the Buyer shall ensure safe and suitable site access.
6.2 Additional charges may apply for delays, restricted access, parking issues, or unforeseen site conditions.
6.3 The Buyer is responsible for obtaining any required permissions, landlord approvals, or planning consent unless otherwise agreed.
7. Payments
7.1 Payment terms are as stated on quotations or invoices.
7.2 Norgroup Limited reserves the right to request deposits or full payment prior to production.
7.3 Overdue invoices may incur statutory interest and compensation charges under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
7.4 Goods remain the property of Norgroup Limited until paid for in full.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 The Buyer confirms they hold the necessary rights and permissions for all supplied artwork, logos, trademarks, and content.
8.2 The Buyer shall indemnify Norgroup Limited against claims arising from infringement relating to supplied content.
8.3 All design work, concepts, proofs, and artwork created by Norgroup Limited remain the intellectual property of Norgroup Limited unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Warranty and Liability
9.1 Printed and manufactured products should be used and maintained appropriately for their intended application.
9.2 Norgroup Limited shall not be liable for misuse, incorrect installation by third parties, environmental damage, vandalism, or fair wear and tear.
9.3 Liability shall be limited to the value of the Goods or Services supplied.
9.4 Norgroup Limited shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of earnings, business interruption, or reputational damage.
10. Cancellations and Returns
10.1 Custom printed or bespoke items are non-refundable once production has commenced.
10.2 Orders cancelled after artwork approval may incur charges for work completed and materials ordered.
10.3 Returns shall only be accepted where agreed in writing.
11. General
11.1 These Terms are governed by English law.
11.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
11.3 If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid.
11.4 These Terms form the entire agreement between the parties unless otherwise agreed in writing.
