Bespoke Aluminium Stencils

Aluminium stencils provide a reusable pattern for applying lettering and logos to equipment, cases, skips and hoardings. Norgroup can prepare the design around the mark you need to reproduce.

A guide to your options

Repeat your branding with a cut-to-design stencil

The artwork is cut through a metal sheet, leaving openings through which paint can be applied. The design must retain enough material to hold the stencil together, including bridges for enclosed letter centres and separate internal shapes.

Materials & construction

These stencils are made from 1mm laser-cut aluminium. The finished sheet outline, graphic size and bridge layout are agreed with the artwork. The stencil is a tool for applying the mark; the paint and target surface determine the finished painted result.

Choose the finish that fits

Business names

Repeat clear lettering across equipment or site items.

Logo stencils

Adapt a logo into a connected stencil design.

Identification marks

Numbers, codes and straightforward information layouts.

Plan the details

Fine details and enclosed shapes may need to be simplified or bridged. Share the intended paint method and surface texture so the artwork can be reviewed. A stencil should be held securely during use to reduce movement and paint bleed.

Where it works

  • Skip and container marking
  • Transport and equipment cases
  • Site hoardings
  • Repeated business identification

Your questions, answered

Can any logo become a stencil?

Many can, but enclosed shapes and fine detail may need bridges or simplification. We will show the adapted artwork for approval.

Is the paint included?

Paint and application are separate from the stencil unless expressly included in the quotation.

Why are there gaps in stencil letters?

Bridges keep the centres of letters such as A, B and O connected to the surrounding sheet.
