A guide to your options
Solid acrylic lettering with light built in
Solid opal acrylic is machined to house LED tape inside the lettering. The acrylic diffuses the light, while the chosen face and return treatment controls where it appears. Face-lit, halo-lit and combined effects can create very different results from the same logo.
Materials & construction
The main body is 30mm opal acrylic. Returns are normally finished in vehicle-wrap vinyl; a painted finish can be specified at additional cost. Lighting colour and face treatment are selected together so the daytime finish and illuminated appearance work as a pair.

Plan the details
Narrow points cannot always light evenly because LEDs cannot reach their tips. Large solid letters can be heavy and may show brighter and darker areas; rimless letters may be a better choice at a larger scale. Fixings can include locators or threaded studs, with tape reserved for suitable smaller pieces.

Can these letters be used outside?
Yes, when specified for exterior installation. Tell us the environment at quotation stage so waterproofing, strokes and mounting can be considered.
Which lighting colours are available?
Lighting colour options include cool white, warm white, pink, blue, red, green and yellow. We will confirm the choice for your design.
Are these the same as rimless letters?
No. These have a solid acrylic body. Rimless letters use an acrylic face with aluminium returns, making them more suitable for many larger designs.
